
The Orange County Economic Development Partnership (OCEDP) will host a free, in-person workshop on QuickBooks Online. The workshop is scheduled for two separate dates: Monday, May 20th, and Tuesday, May 21st. Each session will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Both sessions will be held at the OCEDP Office at 505 S. Maple Street in French Lick.
Kari Johnson of Penny Tracker LLC will present the workshop. Johnson holds an Advanced ProAdvisor Certification in QuickBooks Online software and specializes in providing bookkeeping services and training business owners and entrepreneurs in bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online. Â
Attendees will learn QuickBooks best practices for time-saving workflow and automation, including but not limited to: how to utilize automations in QuickBooks to save time with bank feed rules, recurring transactions, and workflows; how to record a fixed asset and corresponding loan into QuickBooks properly; how to record payroll from a payroll processor properly; understanding user roles for Journal Entries and how to use them; entering and paying bills; using QuickBooks inventory management and Purchase Order functionality; duplicating line items to move between menus and forms efficiently; creating and using tags to track data and locations or collect additional data; and utilizing QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking for further payment processing automation.
