MITCHELL – The Little Miss Persimmon Queen was crowned Monday at the same time as the other pageant royalty. With her court of Princesses and Miss Congeniality winner Kenadee Rayhill, they make a lovely bunch.
2023 Persimmon Festival Little Miss Queen
Alaina Cessna is the daughter of Phillip and Lindsay Cessna. Alaina is in the 5th grade at Burris Elementary. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, making bracelets, and playing games with her sisters. She plays basketball for the Mitchell Little Lady Bluejackets and is active in dancing and gymnastics.
Alaina was “happy and excited” because it was her “very first time crowned Queen!” She told WBIW her favorite part of the contest was the interview, “Because I got to learn a little bit about the judges.”
2023 Persimmon Festival Little Miss Congeniality and Princess
Kenadee Rayhill is the daughter of Kristen and Sean Rayhill. Kenadee is in the 4th grade at Burris Elementary.
Miss Congeniality is an award given to the friendliest contestant as determined by a vote among the contestants. “Congenial” means friendly, welcoming, and amiable.
