INDIANA – The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced the Pathway to Performance webinar series. Pathway to Performance is a four-part learning series designed to give local municipalities, Main Street organizations, civic organizations, arts organizations, and other community-based partners the practical knowledge, tools, and confidence to plan, fund, produce, and sustain successful live music events and experiences in public spaces.
The series is free to attend.

The learning series will be led by Jenny Boyts, Executive Director of the Parks Alliance of Indianapolis. Previously, Jenny served as CEO of Forty5 Presents, an Indianapolis-based, locally owned live entertainment company behind The Vogue Theatre, Rock the Ruins, and Turntable.

Explore practical ways to build an event budget, seek and secure sponsors and partners, diversify revenue, and create events that can grow and thrive year after year in a community’s most unique public spaces. - Making the Deal: Talent Buying, Contracting & Production | Wednesday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. ET
Ready to book unforgettable talent? Get a behind-the-scenes look at how artists and performers are identified, negotiated with, contracted, and prepped to create unforgettable experiences in parks, plazas, downtowns, and other community spaces. - Behind the Scenes: Operations, Logistics & Permitting | Wednesday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m. ET
Transform a public space into a successful event venue. Learn tips and tricks for how to navigate every detail, including permits, production, staffing, safety, and schedules, to create welcoming, safe, and seamless live experiences in the heart of a community.
