LOOGOOTEE — The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is kicking off a series of fall initiatives aimed at strengthening local business connections and expanding regional employment opportunities.
The organization will host its upcoming “Connect Over Coffee” business mixer before holding a countywide job fair later in the month.
“Connect Over Coffee” Business Mixer
Area business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members are invited to attend the next free “Connect Over Coffee” event on Monday, Oct. 5. The morning mixer will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Corner Cafe in downtown Loogootee.
The informal gathering provides local professionals an opportunity to network, share ideas, and stay updated on local economic development efforts. While attendance is free, organizers encourage participants to RSVP in advance to assist the cafe in planning breakfast accommodations.
Employer Registration Open for October Job Fair
Looking ahead to regional workforce development, the Alliance is officially accepting employer registrations for the Martin County Job Fair, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22.
The hiring event will take place at the historic Bowling Manufacturing building in Loogootee. Participating companies will have dedicated booth space to display open positions, accept applications, and conduct preliminary on-site interviews with job seekers from across Martin County and neighboring communities.
