BLOOMINGTON – Fifty years is worth celebrating! Bloomingfoods Owner-Members are invited to join the Bloomingfoods Board of Directors and General Managers on Friday, October 16, from 6–8pm at WonderLab for a special 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting celebrating five decades of cooperation, community, positive change, and good food. This year’s Annual Meeting will be more than a look back – it’s a celebration of where Bloomingfoods has been and an exciting glimpse at where the co-op is headed next.
Owner-Members can enjoy food and drinks, live music, and plenty of celebration, while hearing highlights from the past year and learning more about Bloomingfoods’ bright future. The evening will feature live music from Kindred Strings, with Dena El Saffar on violin and Audrey Jo Williams on cello. The Board of Directors will also announce the recipient of the 2026 Annual Bill Krejci Memorial Award, honoring a member of the Bloomingfoods community.

Owner-Members who RSVP will also be entered into a gift basket giveaway, featuring a $100 Bloomingfoods gift card, Bloomingfoods-branded merchandise, and a selection of fair trade and environmentally friendly products.
