Live music, Women’s Market, and peak summer produce headline this Saturday’s Bloomington Farmers’ Market

BLOOMINGTON The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market (BCFM) returns this Saturday at Showers Common, at 401 North Morton Street, with peak late-summer harvests, live classic hits, local civic outreach, and the annual Women’s Market.

Shoppers can expect a full array of peak summer produce alongside artisan pantry goods across the outdoor plazas.

Fresh Produce

  • Fruits & Berries: Apples, blackberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, peaches, plums, raspberries, and watermelon.
  • Vegetables & Nightshades: Bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, mushrooms, okra, onions, potatoes, summer squash, tomatoes, and zucchini.
  • Greens & Roots: Beets, garlic, multiple varieties of fresh greens, and culinary herbs (including fresh basil).

Local Products & Artisan Goods

  • Fresh Bakery & Dairy: Breads, cakes, pastries, cheese, dairy, and fresh eggs.
  • Meats & Seafood: Locally sourced beef, chicken, lamb, pork, and salmon.
  • Pantry & Specialty: Local honey, maple syrup, kettle corn, kombucha tea, masala chai, specialty coffee, prepared beverages, and prepared hot foods.

Rush Ridge Revival

Live Music on the Circular Stage at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. This high-energy cover band, Rush Ridge Revival, returns to perform crowd-favorite sing-alongs spanning the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and beyond.

2026 Women’s Market from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. hosted indoors inside the nearby Showers Building (City Hall) by the Commission on the Status of Women, featuring local artisan booths with handmade goods, artwork, and crafts.

Mayor’s Team at the Table from 10:00 a.m. to Noon: City of Bloomington Director of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) Anna Killion-Hanson will be available for informal conversations, Q&A, and community feedback.

Traffic Notice: Temporary Suspension of Tuesday Market

Market organizers announced a minor schedule adjustment regarding upcoming weekday operations. Due to scheduled road construction on Rogers Street affecting access to the market area, the Tuesday Market scheduled for August 25 is temporarily postponed. Tuesday Market operations will officially resume the following week on September 1.
