INDIANA – Due to recent legislative changes, INDOT will be issuing the next call for projects for the State FY 2027 Community Crossings Program in September 2026. The call will open on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and remain open until 5 p.m. EDST on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
As INDOT moves forward, it is their intention to issue that call every September from now on.
If any LPA received lane mile distribution funding on June 30, 2026, they are only eligible to apply for the difference between that distribution amount and the $1 million cap.
August 31, 2026, is the deadline to close out all 2024-1 and 2024-2 projects. All projects must be completely closed out before more funding is awarded to a local government for any future CCMG call for projects. No exceptions or waivers will be granted if your projects are not closed out. If your local government owes INDOT CCMG funds from any of these years, those funds must be paid back prior to the opening date of any new CCMG call to be eligible for CCMG funds moving forward.
