BEDFORD — Young car enthusiasts will have the chance to show off their favorite ride-on vehicles during the Bedford Public Library’s upcoming Kinder Car Show.
The family-friendly event will take place Saturday, Sept. 5, from 11 a.m. to noon at Thornton Pavilion and is open to children ages 2 to 8. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite electric Power Wheels, ride-on vehicles, or pedal cars for a fun morning celebrating creativity and imagination.
Whether a child’s vehicle is a classic cruiser, a customized creation, or an adventurous off-road ride, every participant will have the opportunity to display their wheels and compete for several special awards.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Best Vintage
- Most Unique
- Best Non-Motor
- Best Off-Road
- Best Custom
- City of Bedford’s Choice
Following the car show, families are invited to enjoy free food and refreshing popsicles while spending time with fellow community members.
To ensure everyone’s safety, organizers ask participants to follow the vehicle guidelines:
- Electric Power Wheels and other battery-operated ride-on vehicles are welcome.
- Non-motorized ride-on vehicles, including pedal cars, are also permitted.
- Gas-powered vehicles, ATVs, golf carts, and bicycles are not allowed.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Families can register online through the Bedford Public Library’s event calendar.
The library encourages families to bring their cameras, decorate their vehicles, and enjoy a morning filled with fun, friendly competition, and community spirit.
