BEDFORD — Music lovers in Lawrence County are invited to enjoy one final outdoor performance of the summer as the Bedford Community Band hosts its final concert of the season on Sunday, August 9, at 7:00 p.m.
The free community event will take place at the Thornton Park Pavilion in Bedford.
Under the direction of Drew Bailey, the ensemble features a diverse group of musicians of all ages from across the area. The lineup brings together seasoned adult community performers alongside young local talent, including current students from both Bedford North Lawrence High School and Mitchell High School.
Organizers encourage community members to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to support the local musicians as they close out their seasonal schedule with an evening of live music.
Admission is completely free to the public.
