MITCHELL — Acclaimed Southern Indiana Christian-Country recording artist Kirby Stailey will take the stage with his full band, The Dash, at the historic Mitchell Opera House on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The show promises an uplifting, family-friendly evening of spiritual music designed to offer “more than just musical entertainment.”

A Decade of Original Music & High-Profile Performances
Hailing from French Lick, Indiana, Stailey has established a prolific music career. Since 2009, he has written and released 53 original “solo written” songs spanning five full-length albums and two EPs.
In 2013, Stailey signed with Tennessee-based Chapel Valley Records, partnering with award-winning producer Shane Roark. That collaboration produced three full-length albums—Sowin Seeds (2015), Un-ashamed (2017), and Up There (2024)—along with the highly acclaimed 2015 EP That’s What Brothers Do.
Over his career, Stailey’s musical journey has taken him to premier national and state venues:
- Notable Stages: Shared the stage with major artists like Eric Church, Mark Wills, and Daryl Singletary.
- Historic Venues: Performed at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., for National Police Week, the Indiana Statehouse, and Nashville’s famous Bluebird Cafe.
- Accolades: Named a past winner of the Colgate Country Showdown and a regional finalist on NBC’s hit television series The Voice.
Whether performing solo, with a trio, or backed by his six-piece band, The Dash, Stailey focuses on creating music centered around faith, family, and life lessons. He regularly headlines community festivals, church revivals, youth events, and benefit concerts throughout the region.
