Revving Up for a Cause: 5th Annual Cement City Cruise-In set for August in Mitchell

MITCHELL — Automotive enthusiasts and families from across Lawrence County are gearing up for a weekend of classic cars, local vendors, and community fellowship.

The 5th Annual Cement City Cruise-In is officially scheduled for Saturday, August 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The community gathering will take over Lehigh Field, located at 211 North Meridian Road in Mitchell.

The annual cruise-in serves as a key regional fundraiser, with all event proceeds directly supporting the La-Or-Ma Shrine Club and its ongoing philanthropic initiatives. This year’s event is heavily backed by local community pillars, including official sponsorships from Hiram’s Hot Rods, Hoosier Uplands, and Lawrence County Tourism.

The exhibition is completely open to all makes, models, and classes of vehicles. For automotive owners looking to showcase their rides, registration will take place on the day of the event from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. The vehicle entry fee is $20 per entry.
