MITCHELL— The Mitchell regional business communities have a brand-new avenue to connect with thousands of potential customers this autumn. Festival organizers have officially launched the 2026 Chamber Member Spotlight, an exclusive promotional opportunity debuting at this year’s Mitchell Persimmon Festival.

The new initiative is designed to give local businesses and non-profit organizations a high-visibility, high-traffic physical presence directly on Main Street during the peak of the festival week.
The Mitchell Persimmon Festival routinely draws tens of thousands of visitors to Lawrence County, transforming the downtown corridor into an economic powerhouse for regional merchants. The Chamber Member Spotlight was created to ensure local enterprises can directly tap into that massive foot traffic.
According to the chamber’s announcement, the program is tailored for diverse business goals, whether an organization is looking to:
- Build Brand Awareness: Introduce a business or services to regional residents and traveling tourists.
- Connect with the Community: Foster face-to-face relationships with existing and prospective clients in a festive, relaxed atmosphere.
- Share Vital Information: Distribute promotional materials, launch new product lines, or showcase upcoming regional projects.
- Offer Live Demonstrations: Provide interactive, engaging look-ins at product capabilities or unique services.
Limited Spaces Available
Because the spotlight locations are situated in premium, high-density areas along the main festival drag, organizers emphasize that booth spaces are strictly limited. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to active chamber members.
“This is a great way to put your business in front of thousands of festival visitors,” the committee stated in its rollout notice, urging interested business owners to act quickly. “Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!”
How to Reserve a Spot
Chamber members looking to secure their space on Main Street for the 2026 Festival Week can find registration details, layout maps, and booth guidelines through the official Chamber of Commerce portal or by contacting the festival planning committee directly at mitchellchamber@frontier.com.
