Bloomington Music Expo returns to Switchyard Park Pavilion

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Music Expo, one of the city’s most popular music events, returns from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Switchyard Park Pavilion, 1601 South Rogers Street, Bloomington.

More than 25 vendors from five states will fill 57 tables with thousands of music-related items, including pre-loved LPs, new vinyl releases, 45s, CDs, cassettes, posters, T-shirts, record supplies, and more.

Whether you’re just starting your collection or have been crate digging for years, the Bloomington Music Expo offers something for every type of music fan.

Event Organizer Jeremy D. Bonfiglio

“Bloomington is such a great music town, and the Bloomington Music Expo is one more way to celebrate record collectors and music lovers in the region,” event organizer Jeremy D. Bonfiglio said. “What I love most about this show is the camaraderie between vendors and customers. A room full of thousands of records can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new collectors, but our vendors make it welcoming. We’re all music fans here, and there’s nothing better than seeing someone walk away with their next favorite record.”

The event was founded in 1999 by Visit Bloomington Executive Director Mike McAfee. Bonfiglio, owner of For The Record Vinyl, LLC, took over the show in 2024 and expanded it into a biannual event, with spring and fall editions. His company also produces record shows in South Bend, Fort Wayne, Toledo, Ohio, and Benton Harbor, Michigan.
