BNL’s Bailey, Spreen selected for Top 60

BNL’s Madisyn Bailey has been selected for the Top 60 Workout.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence’s Madisyn Bailey and Chloe Spreen have been selected to participate in the 43rd annual Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout on March 3 at Beech Grove in Indianapolis.

The workout, held in conjunction with the IHSAA and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, will be divided into two sessions (1-3 p.m. for athletes from northern and southern Indiana, 3:30-5:30 for girls in central Indiana). North Central coach Dee Ann Ramey will conduct both sessions.

Bailey, a Marian recruit, averaged 11.5 points and team highs of 4.2 assists and 3.2 steals for the Stars. She scored a career-high 24 points in the sectional victory over Jennings County and totaled a career-high 10 assists against Noblesville.

Spreen, an Alabama recruit, averaged 20.9 points and 6.9 rebounds while powering BNL to a 20-5 record and a 13th consecutive Class 4A sectional title. She finished second on the school’s career scoring list with 1,869 points. She is a leading candidate for Miss Basketball.

Other players of note who were selected include Jordyn Poole of Fort Wayne Snider (Purdue), Reagan Wilson of Noblesville (Iowa State),Faith Wiseman of Indian Creek (Indiana) and Juliann Woodard of Jennings County (Michigan State).

The Top 60 is the final part of the selection process for the Indiana All-Stars.
