Pleasant Run Township Volunteer Fire Departments was also alerted but were disregarded enroute to the scene.

Chief Bobby Brown said an air compressor’s motor locked up igniting a wooden bench. The fire then spread up a wall. The air compressor was located under the wooden bench.

“It was a pole barn style garage which was a good thing, because there was a lot of metal on the building preventing the spread of the fire.” Chief Brown added.

Firefighters were able to save two vehicles, one a vintage vehicle, that were inside the burning building.

Firefighters were able to extiguish the fire within 15 minutes.
