Free concerts with everyone’s favorite genre 

BLOOMINGTON – Enjoy live music in city parks even as school begins! From indie to rock, from folk to funk, and from country to jazz, there’s something for everyone this summer and fall.

Sundays feature back-to-back performances in Bryan Park from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The Top Hat Blues Revue and the Straight Up Chumps take the stage on July 30, followed by Jan Bell and The Amanda Webb Band on August 6. The Bryan Park concert series concludes on August 13 with performances by Tom Roznowski and Tango with Winnie.

Admission is FREE to all concerts.

Thursdays feature a performance in Peoples Park from 4:30 – 6 p.m. Come enjoy Steve Plessinger with Devin Brown on July 27, Joe Donnelly on August 3, Vuko on August 10, Matthew Marcelle on August 17, Kevin Shima on August 24, and Kade Puckett on August 31.

Happy Hours on the Lawn and the music of Joe Baughman + The Righteous Few come to Switchyard Park on Friday, August 11 at 6 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for purchase in the beer garden. ID check required. 

This summer features the first edition of the Switchyard Park Thursday Night Summer Music Series, presented by Bloomington Parks and Recreation and Visit Bloomington. On Thursday, August 24 from 6 – 10 p.m., Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway with The Henhouse Prowlers take the stage to perform bluegrass music.
