The event provided hotdogs and popcorn for everyone to eat, a bounce house, a pumpkin painting station, as well as many decorated employee vehicles handing out candy. Melissa Hilkey, General Store Manager at the Bedford Bender Lumber said giving back to the community is the main emphasis of this event.

“Community involvement is a big part of why we are putting on an event like this,” said Hilkey. “It also serves as a reminder to the community that we are here, and we are glad to be a part of the community, so it is a great way for us to give back to the community, for all of the support they have provided to us.”
