(WASHINGTON) – The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation is raising money to help the hospital purchase a 3-D Mammography imaging machine.
The machine costs around $350,000. The Foundation is committed to raising $100,000 to offset the cost. The Foundation has raised nearly $50,000.00 which includes the proceeds from the Annual Golf Benefit held earlier this month. Â
The Foundation hopes to raise much of the rest of the funds through an online auction now underway through September 15th.
More than 50 items are up for auction through donations from area businesses, individuals, and hospital departments including gift baskets, gift certificates, and specialty items.
