(MITCHELL) – The Lions Club BBQ Chicken Annual Fundraising Event is set for September 26th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Ben Franklin Parking Lot on West Main Street in Mitchell.
Officials will serve 100 dinners at $10 each. The meal includes 1/2 of a BBQ chicken with baked beans and coleslaw and drink.
The funds will be used to build needed wheelchair ramps and provide eyeglasses for children at Hatfield and Burris Elementary schools whose families can’t afford them.
