(MITCHELL) – Duke Energy is reporting 1462 customers are without power in the Mitchell and surrounding area.
According to reports, a breaker at the sub-station is having an issue, and crews are working to find the problem.
Duke says at this time that power will not be restored until around 2:00 p.m.
