ORLEANS — The annual “Fall Town-Wide Clean Up” is officially underway this week, offering Orleans residents multiple free, convenient ways to dispose of unwanted junk and large household items.
Town crews are currently making rounds throughout the community to pick up large items free of charge. To guarantee collection, residents must place all discarded items curbside no later than Thursday, October 8th.
In addition to curbside service, a large dumpster has been stationed at the Orleans Town Garage for resident use throughout the week. The dumpster is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until Noon. Residents are strongly encouraged to bring any bulk unwanted items directly to the site for disposal.
To schedule a curbside pickup or for additional details regarding the “Fall Clean Sweep,” contact the Orleans Town Offices at 812-865-2539.
