Martin County Community Foundation Annual Dinner set for November 2

LOOGOOTEE — The Martin County Community Foundation will host its annual dinner on Monday, Nov. 2, bringing together community members and supporters to celebrate regional philanthropy and local community impact.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Community Building at the Martin County 4-H Fairgrounds and Event Center.

Since its establishment, the foundation has served as a central hub for permanent endowments, grantmaking, and local scholarships. Over the course of its history, the organization has directly and indirectly supported nearly $19 million in charitable programs, educational funds, and civic initiatives across Martin County.

The foundation administers local grant cycles—including quarterly Impact and Boost grants for area non-profits and school programs—alongside designated endowment distributions and competitive college scholarships, such as the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.

Community members planning to attend the annual gathering can reserve a seat by contacting Development Director Megan Hawkins at 812-295-1022 or by reaching out to the foundation’s office.
