Overnight lane and ramp closures to impact I-70 in Clay, Putnam Counties

CLAY AND PUTNAM COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces overnight lane and ramp closures that will impact I-70 in Clay and Putnam Counties.

Beginning on or after Monday evening, October 12, INDOT contractors will close the right lanes of I-70 between Tabortown Street near Brazil (16.5-mm) and County Road 1100 W. (39.6-mm) near Little Point. The westbound on-ramp at State Road 243 will also close. The purpose of these closures is to set camera towers and digital message signs.

This portion of construction is anticipated to last up to one week but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distracted driving around all work zones.
