BLOOMINGTON— The League of Women Voters of Bloomington-Monroe County is holding two upcoming training sessions designed to empower community members to register local citizens to vote ahead of future elections.
The sessions will take place at the Monroe County Public Library at 303 East Kirkwood Avenue in Room 1B on the following dates:
- Sunday, Aug. 23: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 12: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Led by Ralf Shaw, Co-Chair of the League’s Voter Service Committee, the interactive workshops will cover the step-by-step process of registering Indiana voters and address common questions regarding state voter registration guidelines.
The training is open to any member of the public interested in actively participating in the election process and supporting civic engagement in the local community.
Advance registration is required for both dates. Interested participants can sign up through the event calendar at lwv-bmc.org or register directly for the August 23 session or September 12 session.
