INDIANA – American Structurepoint has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Indiana Governor’s Half Century Business Award, recognizing Indiana companies that have operated for at least 50 years and have demonstrated a commitment to serving their communities. The award is presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the State of Indiana.

Founded in Indianapolis in 1966, American Structurepoint has grown from a local engineering firm into a national multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consulting firm. Today, the company remains headquartered in Indiana, with more than 800 professionals across 18 design centers in seven states.

“We are honored to receive the Indiana Governor’s Half Century Business Award,” said American Structurepoint President Cash Canfield. “This recognition reflects the people who have shaped American Structurepoint over the past 60 years, the trust our clients have placed in us, and the values that continue to guide our work.”
American Structurepoint continues to support communities across Indiana and the nation through projects that improve transportation networks, public infrastructure, educational facilities, commercial developments, and the quality of life.

“Indiana has been our home since the beginning, and we are proud of the impact we’ve been able to make alongside our partners,” said Rick Conner, CEO of American Structurepoint. “This award is both a reflection of our history and a reminder of our responsibility to continue serving Indiana communities for generations to come.”
American Structurepoint was formally recognized by Governor Mike Braun during the 2026 Governor’s Century and Half Century Business Awards ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse.
