The proclamation, signed on July 27, 2026, highlights the vital role the Indiana Child Support Program plays in ensuring that children across the state receive necessary financial support from both parents, helping reduce poverty among families.

The program, which operates as a collaborative effort between the Indiana Child Support Bureau, county prosecuting attorneys, and county clerks of circuit courts, secured more than $504 million in child support in 2025 alone. These collections positively impacted over 195,000 families statewide.
While statewide data has been released, specific child support collection figures and statistics for Lawrence County, Indiana, are not currently available.

The Child Support Bureau remains dedicated to improving its services for families by developing innovative strategies and building strong partnerships with fellow state agencies and local organizations.
