BEDFORD — The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to celebrate a major milestone by hosting its 110th Chamber Annual Dinner later this month.
The premier local business event will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
Embracing this year’s theme, “110 Years, 110%,” the event will spotlight leadership, resilience, and personal and professional growth within the community.

The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., allowing area business owners, community leaders, and residents to network before the main program.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Joe Spires
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Bedford native Dr. Joe Spires, a board-certified endodontist, author, educator, and speaker.
Beyond his medical career, Dr. Spires is an accomplished IFBB Pro bodybuilder, having earned his professional status as a Masters 50+ competitor before winning the 2026 Indy Pro Show in Classic Physique. In his book, The Average Joe’s Blueprint to Living Fit, he encourages readers to pursue personal excellence through intentional habits and continuous growth.
During his address, Dr. Spires will share his authentic perspective on mastering extraordinary results in both personal and professional life, tying into the Chamber’s commitment to giving “110%” to the community.
