Free concert series “The Home of the Brave” coming to Bedford to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary

BEDFORD — Area residents are invited to mark a massive milestone in American history with a powerful, multi-generational musical production coming to Lawrence County later this month.

“The Home of the Brave,” a grand musical celebration honoring America’s courage, commitment, and 250th anniversary, will take the stage at the Bedford North Lawrence High School Performing Arts Center.

The inspiring production promises a sweeping, patriotic experience for attendees. The performance brings together a massive ensemble featuring both adult and children’s choirs, a live orchestra, dramatic narrators, actors, and immersive multimedia presentations that chronicle the nation’s history.

The public will have two opportunities to catch the performance:

  • Sunday, June 28: 2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, June 29: 7:00 p.m.

Admission to both showtimes is completely free to the public, making it an accessible event for families and community members looking to celebrate the historic Semiquincentennial together. No advanced tickets or reservations are required.
