INDIANA — The National Fire Academy has announced the completion of two new “Hub and Spoke” training facilities in southern Indiana, located in Chrisney in Spencer County and Paoli in Orange County.

These new sites are part of an ongoing statewide initiative to enhance the capabilities of firefighters.
The facilities are designed to provide a realistic environment for live fire training, and academy instructors have already delivered initial training sessions to local fire agencies. The new sites will now enable these local departments to conduct their own live-fire exercises, thereby improving their readiness and skills.

With the completion of the Chrisney and Paoli locations, the total number of operational Hub and Spoke facilities has reached nine. Four additional facilities are currently under construction in Seymour, Winchester, Covington, and Vincennes, with plans for more to be announced.
