PAOLI — The Orange County 4-H Junior Leaders will host their annual Diaper Derby on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Orange County 4-H Fairgrounds’ block building — and it promises to be a race like no other.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., with the race starting at 1:00 p.m. The event is open to children between the ages of 6 to 24 months, divided into age-based groups: 6–9 months, 9–12 months, 12–15 months, 15–18 months, and 18–24 months.
The entry fee is $5, and prizes will be awarded to the fastest crawlers in each division.
The dress code is simple: diapers and a white t-shirt or onesie. Organizers encourage families to keep outfits “cute and simple” for the race.
The Diaper Derby is a light-hearted event designed to celebrate the community’s youngest members and is part of the broader Orange County 4-H fair activities.
Sponsored by Purdue Extension – 4-H Youth Development and supported by Indiana 4-H Junior Leaders, the event reflects 4-H’s mission to involve all age groups in fun, educational experiences.
