Hope Resource Center hosts next DIY Dads Workshop this Saturday

BEDFORD — The Hope Resource Center will hold its next DIY Dads Workshop this Saturday, June 14, continuing its mission to empower new fathers with essential life skills and meaningful connections.

The monthly event, held on the second Saturday of each month, runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is open to all dads looking to build confidence and community. Each workshop features hands-on instruction in areas such as auto repair, home maintenance, and outdoor survival skills, all in a welcoming, brotherhood-centered environment.

Participants will receive a free toolbox at their first session and a new tool to add to it at each following event, encouraging growth and practical learning. Breakfast is included with every workshop, and pre-registration is encouraged.

Organizers say the workshop helps fathers not only gain practical knowledge but also build a support system to navigate the challenges of parenthood with strength and purpose. The program aims to equip dads with the tools—both literal and emotional—to be present and capable in their role as fathers.
