PAOLI — A new thrift store is welcoming shoppers to Paoli, offering community members a place to hunt for secondhand treasures while giving donated items another chance to find a home.
Rack Raiders LLC officially opened Wednesday, October 28, at 405 SW First St. in Paoli, behind Pizza Hut on the far-right side of the shopping strip.
The store opened its doors while staff continued organizing merchandise and getting everything in place. In a message to the community, the women behind Rack Raiders said they were excited to welcome shoppers despite still having some finishing touches to complete.
“We may not have every single thing perfect just yet, but we couldn’t wait any longer to welcome you all in!” the owners shared in a social media post. “We’ve put so much heart into this place, and we can’t wait for you to come shop, hunt for treasures, and see what Rack Raiders is all about!”
As a thrift store, Rack Raiders provides an opportunity for shoppers to browse secondhand merchandise and discover unique finds. The business also welcomes donations, allowing community members to contribute items during regular operating hours.
The store’s donation policy gives residents an ongoing opportunity to support its efforts by bringing in items rather than waiting for a special collection event.
“We will always be taking donations during our open hours!” the owners said.
By accepting donations and making secondhand goods available to shoppers, Rack Raiders offers a way for items to continue being used rather than going to waste. Thrift shopping can also give customers an alternative to buying new while searching for affordable and distinctive finds.
The opening marks a new addition to Paoli’s local shopping options, with the owners inviting residents to stop in, browse the merchandise, and learn more about the store as it continues to grow.
Rack Raiders LLC is located at 405 SW First St., behind Pizza Hut on the far right side of the strip.
