MITCHELL — Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation has announced that applications for the upcoming Energy Assistance Program (EAP) season will officially open on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, and run through April 30, 2027.
The low-income home energy program provides winter heating assistance to eligible households in Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Washington counties.
Application Process and Ways to Apply
Income-eligible residents can submit applications online, by mail, or in person. Applicants can request an application packet by contacting their local Hoosier Uplands office or by visiting the agency’s official website at www.hoosieruplands.org.
