ORLEANS — The Town of Orleans has announced that its annual Fall Town-Wide Clean Up will take place from Monday, October 5 through Saturday, October 10.
Local officials are encouraging all residents to pitch in and do their part to help tidy up residential properties and public spaces ahead of the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
To assist residents with disposal, a large community dumpster will be set up at the Town Garage and available for public use throughout the cleanup week.
In addition to the central dumpster site, the Town Crew will conduct curbside pickup service for larger discarded items. Residents wishing to take advantage of curbside collection must have their discarded items placed at the curb no later than Thursday, October 8.
Community members with questions regarding acceptable items or cleanup operations are advised to contact the town hall or local municipal utility department.
