BLOOMINGTON — As the weather turns crisp, the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market is celebrating the autumn season with seasonal flowers, young business owners, and a full lineup of live entertainment.

Vendors across the market are featuring fall chrysanthemums—better known as mums—in bold shades of yellow, orange, burgundy, bronze, purple, pink, and white. Thriving in cooler autumn temperatures, these fragrant blooms are available alongside a wide selection of local seasonal produce for home gardens, porches, and patios.
Sixth Annual Youth Day Returns This Saturday
This Saturday, the market will host its sixth annual Youth Day on Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall.
More than 30 young farmers, artists, and entrepreneurs will set up and operate their own stands, gaining hands-on experience running a business while keeping all of their profits. Community members are encouraged to shop from and support these local youth creators.
Saturday Entertainment Lineup
Visitors to the Saturday market can enjoy live music on the BCFM Circle Stage, featuring two local acts.

- 8:30 a.m.: Claire Pendreigh performs folk and jazz-influenced vocal and guitar selections.
- 10:30 a.m.: Jack Carl takes the stage, performing indie folk with a 1970s pop style.
Final Tuesday Market of the 2026 Season
The market will hold its final Tuesday evening session of the 2026 season this coming Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell Commons, located at 630 S. Morton St.
Admission is free, and attendees can shop for seasonal fruits, vegetables, and artisan foods prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Marketgoers are encouraged to walk or bike using the adjacent B-Line Trail, with bicycle racks provided on both the east and west sides of the commons.
The Lazy Susan String Band will close out the Tuesday performance season with traditional old-time string music beginning at 5:00 p.m.
