MITCHELL — Seniors aged 60 and older are invited to participate in a series of free weekly group fitness classes hosted at the Mitchell Community Public Library.

Sponsored by Hoosier Uplands, the community program aims to promote healthy aging through gentle exercise routines designed for older adults.
Class Details and Schedule
The fitness sessions take place every Friday at 1:15 p.m. on the second floor of the Mitchell Community Public Library, located at 804 Main Street in Mitchell.
Led by instructor Staci Fiddler, each class focuses on key physical wellness skills tailored for seniors:
- Light Stretching: Enhancing flexibility and joint mobility.
- Strengthening: Building functional muscular strength.
- Balance Skills: Improving stability and preventing fall risks.
All equipment and activity materials are provided free of charge to participants.
