BLOOMINGTON — The Big Ten Conference released its full slate of league matchups on Wednesday, finalizing Indiana University’s 32-game men’s basketball schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The schedule features a rigorous 20-game conference campaign, high-profile neutral-site showcases, and three pre-season exhibition contests. While game dates and locations are locked in, tip-off times and television broadcast designations will be announced at a later date.
Non-Conference & Early Big Ten Play
Indiana opens its campaign with three pre-season exhibition tune-ups in October, including matchups against Butler and North Carolina in Indianapolis, followed by a trip to Evansville to face Western Kentucky.
The regular season tips off on November 2 against Eastern Illinois at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Highlight non-conference games feature marquee neutral-site showdowns against Syracuse and Kentucky in Indianapolis, as well as a clash against Arkansas at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
As in previous years, the Hoosiers will play two early Big Ten conference games in December—hosting Rutgers on Dec. 1 before traveling to face Iowa on Dec. 7—to accommodate the 20-game Big Ten schedule before returning to non-conference action.
