GALENA – Floyd Central cruised to a three-set sweep of Bedford North Lawrence during high school volleyball action on Thursday night.
The Highlanders (7-2 overall) improved to 2-0 in the Hoosier Hills Conference while posting a 25-14, 25-12, 25-13 triumph. The Stars slid to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in the league.
”There were moments where we battled, and there were moments when the energy dropped,” BNL coach Aaron Wagoner said. “We are working on finding our shots.”
Izzy Root had 6 kills, Adalynn Bailey totaled 11 assists and 7 digs, Lily Wagoner had 7 digs, and Jenna Allen recorded 3 kills and 6 digs for the Stars.
BNL will visit New Albany on Tuesday.
