ORLEANS — The Orleans Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Orleans will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 1, at 10 a.m. to celebrate the grand opening of the new Casey’s store on the south edge of town.
Located at 1616 South Maple Street, the new facility brings updated fuel services, convenience items, and fresh food options to residents and travelers along the corridor. Members of the public are invited to attend the brief ceremony.
The ribbon cutting is one of several community initiatives coinciding with the opening of the location.
“We are excited to be open and serving the community!” said Casey’s District Manager Aaron Rousseau. “The ribbon cutting is one of a few exciting events we are doing locally. Friday morning, we made a $1,000 donation to the Orleans Elementary School, and next Saturday, we will be helping serve ice cream to raise money for the Shriners Children’s Medical Network during the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Service event at 10050 State Road 37 in Bedford.”
Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Casey’s operates nearly 3,000 convenience stores across 19 states. Founded in 1968, the company has built its business model by expanding into small towns and rural communities.
In addition to traditional fuel and retail options, Casey’s is known for its prepared food program. Its scratch-made dough and on-site pizza kitchens have made the company the fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States.
Town officials and Chamber representatives encourage residents to drop by the new location on Tuesday morning to welcome the staff and mark the official opening.
