BEDFORD — Bedford North Lawrence High School boys soccer will celebrate its 40th year with a special alumni recognition event Saturday, Aug. 29, at BNL.
The celebration will take place before the BNL boys varsity game, with the junior varsity game scheduled for 11 a.m. and the varsity game to follow. The 40th-year and alumni recognition is expected to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m., prior to the start of the varsity match.
The event will bring former BNL boys soccer players back to recognize four decades of the program and its alumni.
Organizers are also planning activities and food options throughout the day, making the event a family-friendly celebration for current players, former players, alumni and fans.
Concession specials will be available, along with Boady’s Shake-Ups and the Epic PitStop Food Truck.
Four tickets to Holiday World also will be given away during halftime of the varsity game.
The public is invited to attend the celebration and support the BNL boys soccer program as it recognizes its 40-year history and the players who have been part of it.
