PAOLI — Superburger is bringing a little friendly competition to the Paoli Fall Festival with a hot dog eating contest on Saturday, September 5.

The contest will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at Superburger, located at 600 W. Main St. in Paoli, and is being held in partnership with The Weenie Wagon. The event is open to participants of different ages, giving kids, teens and adults a chance to compete for prizes while supporting a local cause.

Three Divisions

Participants will compete in one of three age divisions:

  • Kids, ages 8-12: Eat three hot dogs as quickly as possible.
  • Teens, ages 13-17: Eat six hot dogs as quickly as possible.
  • Adults, ages 18 and older: Eat 10 hot dogs as quickly as possible.

Contestants must eat both the hot dog and bun, and water will be allowed during the competition. Participants must remain seated while competing.

In the event of a tie, contestants will face off in a two-minute eat-off to determine the winner. The judge’s decision will be final.

Prizes Up for Grabs

Winners in each division will receive prizes.

The kids’ winner will receive free ice cream, while the teen winner will take home a $25 Superburger gift card.

The adult winner will receive a $50 Superburger gift card along with a prize basket.

The entry fee is $15 per participant, with all proceeds benefiting the Humane Society.

Anyone interested in participating must RSVP and register by August 24. Registration can be completed at Superburger by asking for Ollie or Alex Surrett.

The contest offers festival-goers a chance to grab a bite, cheer on local competitors, and support the Humane Society while enjoying the Paoli Fall Festival.
