SEYMOUR — An evening of music, worship and fellowship is coming to Seymour as the Power of Praise Worship Night invites the community to gather for a free outdoor event focused on celebrating faith and sharing the Gospel.
The event will take place Friday, August 28, at 7 p.m. at Crossroads Park, 101 E. Tipton St. in Seymour. The event is free and open to the public, giving individuals and families an opportunity to enjoy an evening of live worship in a welcoming outdoor setting.
Featured for the evening will be New Heart Worship, with Treasured Generation serving as a special guest. Organizers are preparing an evening filled with worship music and an encouraging message, with the goal of bringing people together through faith and fellowship.
The Power of Praise Worship Night is designed to be more than just a concert. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in worship and hear a presentation of the Gospel while enjoying the atmosphere of Crossroads Park.
Organizers describe Crossroads Park as one of the best outdoor concert spaces in Southern Indiana, making it a fitting location for an evening centered around music, community, and worship.
Whether attending with family, friends or on their own, community members are encouraged to come out, bring a lawn chair and enjoy the evening. With no admission charge, the event is open to people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Power of Praise Worship Night is presented by Genesis 2:24 Ministries in cooperation with Seymour Parks & Recreation, with special thanks to OMS.
