BLOOMINGTON — Veritas Publishing House and 4P Group LLC are partnering to present a special benefit book event supporting local nonprofit New Leaf New Life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Redbud Books in Bloomington.
The evening will feature panel discussions and readings from authors Chastidy Mader, Ryan Mader, Nordia McNish, and Trunnis Goggins, II. Together, the authors will share personal perspectives on resilience, recovery, personal transformation, purpose, and the critical importance of second chances.
Designed to foster meaningful conversation and local impact, the gathering will bring together community leaders, recovery advocates, educators, justice professionals, employers, and Bloomington-area residents.

New Leaf New Life works directly with individuals affected by incarceration and reentry, providing practical support, resources, encouragement, and pathways to build productive, sustainable futures.
The featured authors’ works align closely with that mission, tackling themes of overcoming addiction, navigating the criminal justice system, rebuilding family relationships, accepting accountability, and converting life challenges into service to others.
