GREENE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for US 231 in Greene County.
Beginning on or around Monday, July 27, crews will begin alternating lane closures on US 231 near Bloomfield. These lane closures will occur over Doans Creek near the I-69 interchange.
Lane closures will allow for bridge maintenance operations. One lane of travel will be open in each direction during this phase of work. Work is expected to take a month to complete, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
