BEDFORD — Spending one night outdoors can offer a powerful glimpse into the reality many people face every day. That’s the idea behind Becky’s Place’s second annual Sleep Out, Speak Out fundraiser, which invites the community to come together in support of women and children experiencing homelessness.
The overnight event encourages participants to bring their sleeping bags and spend the night outside to raise awareness and funds for Becky’s Place. Snacks, drinks, and warm coffee will be available to attendees throughout the evening.
Residents who cannot attend the event are encouraged to participate from home, take pictures, and tag Becky’s Place Facebook Page.
