BLOOMINGTON — Area families looking to beat the summer heat have plenty of local options as city aquatics facilities swing into full daily operations, highlighted by a special free admission day this weekend.

Both Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool are currently open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. Standard daily admission is $7 per person, while children ages 4 and younger are admitted free of charge. For qualifying individuals, pool fee waivers are also available through the department.
Free Holiday Swimming
In celebration of the holiday weekend, admission to both Bryan Park and Mills Pools will be completely FREE on Saturday, July 4, weather permitting.
Free Daily Option at Switchyard Plaza
For those looking for a daily cost-free option to cool down, the Community Foundation Switchyard Plaza Spray Pad is also open for the season. The spray pad operates daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting, and admission is always free to the public.
