INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers are officially looking for the next generation of elite, high-flying dunkers to electrify crowds at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Tryouts for the Pacers Power Pack—the team’s iconic trampoline dunk squad—will take place tonight, Monday, June 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. The event will be hosted right on the main floor of Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
For athletes who can throw down jaw-dropping, acrobatic dunks and possess the energy to motivate thousands of roaring fans on NBA game nights, tonight is the ultimate chance to make the roster for the upcoming season.
Tryout Details & Requirements
Unlike standard professional team tryouts, the Power Pack keeps the barrier to entry simple: no pre-registration is required. Hopefuls just need to show up to the Fieldhouse tonight, lace up their sneakers, and prepare to jump.
To be eligible for the squad, the Pacers organization requires that all candidates meet the following general criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must hold a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be fully willing to travel throughout the greater Indianapolis area and beyond for games, regular rehearsals, and community appearances
