BEDFORD — Drivers traveling on Highway 58 should prepare for a minor disruption as a portion of the roadway undergoes construction.

A less than half-mile section of Highway 58 is currently closed to through traffic between Shandell Drive and Fellowship Drive. While barricades are in place, Sherwood Oaks Christian Church notes that many area motorists seem caught off guard by the closure and are unsure of the best local detours to navigate around the work zone.
Despite the construction blocking normal traffic flow, local access remains open. Specifically, representatives from the church located within the construction zone want to remind the community that their facility remains fully open and accessible during this time.
To assist drivers who may be unprepared for the detour routes, QR codes have been provided to map out the best ways to get around the barricades.
