BEDFORD — Residents have a delicious opportunity to support young musicians this week. The Mitchell High School Bluejackets Band program is partnering with the Bedford Culver’s for a community Share Night fundraiser.
The event will take place on Monday, June 15th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Culver’s restaurant located at 3050 John Williams Blvd in Bedford.
During the three-hour event, Culver’s will donate a percentage of all sales directly to the Mitchell Band program. According to organizers, the proceeds will be used to help fund essential expenses for the rapidly growing music initiative.
In addition to driving through or dining in, patrons will get a chance to meet the students benefiting from the fundraiser. Several Mitchell Band members will be on-site throughout the evening to greet diners, assist customers, and personally thank the community for their support.
The event promises a simple way to “enjoy great food, support our students, and make a difference.” Community members are encouraged to bring their families out for dinner to help ensure the growing band program has the resources it needs for the upcoming season.
