HENDRICKS COUNTY – A Danville man has been arrested for allegedly driving a school bus while intoxicated. The arrest comes after a lengthy ISP investigation.
On April 15, 2026, the Indiana State Police received allegations of a man driving a school bus while under the influence of alcohol. Sgt. Joel Flores of the Indiana State Police initiated the investigation. He reviewed the on-board video from the bus and spoke to school officials about the situation.

Based on all the information gathered and evidence reviewed, Sgt. Flores filed for an arrest warrant through the Hendricks County Court. Earlier today, 52-year-old Micah McClain was arrested at his home. He now faces the following charges:
- Neglect of a Dependent – Level 6 felony
- Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a person under 18 years old – Level 6 felony
- Criminal Recklessness – Level 6 felony
- Speeding in a School Zone – Class C misdemeanor
- Holding a phone while driving – Class C infraction
- Unsafe Lane Movement – Class C infraction
- Disregarding a Stop Sign – Class C infraction
